SMART Building Concept
Abstract In
the idea of zero-waste, zero-energy building, the SMART Building Concept
will have zero net energy consumption and zero carbon emissions. As,
current operation of infrastructure accounts for huge amount of energy
consumption and at the same time emits a of greenhouse gases, the SMART
Building Concept would be a big step forward. Alongside the design of an
office, home or factory, and the materials used in its construction, a
pivotal issue is the idea of having intelligent buildings which adapt
low and high tech methods to ensure optimum management of resource. Benefits With major advances taking place across the ICT field, increased integration of control systems and, in some markets, roll-out of smart meter systems, SMART Building will challenge the old model of consumption and turn it into a more sustainable cycle by championing the cause of recycle, reduce and reuse.
